Walls, windows sucked out of Panama City hotel during Hurricane Michael

News

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WFLA) – Walls and windows were sucked out of a Holiday Inn hotel where a WFLA news crew and evacuees were staying during Hurricane Michael in Panama City.

Shards of glass and pieces of the building are littered around certain sections of the hotel.

We are told people are staying in those damaged rooms, but they will be evacuated.

Sirens can now be heard in the area as rescue crews get on their way.

Cellphone service in the area is limited and internet access is not working at all.
