There was some movement in the AFC playoff picture in Week 1, but the Miami Dolphins find themselves in the same fourth position they've been for a couple of weeks now.
What has changed is their first-round opponent playing the ever-popular "if the season ended today game" because it now would be the Cleveland Browns, as a result of their last-second home victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
The Steelers previously occupied the fifth spot and stood as Miami's projected first-round opponent, but now have fallen to seventh — the last playoff position.
There could be a change at the top after the Monday night between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs because an Eagles victory at Arrowhead Stadium would move the Baltimore Ravens to the No. 1 seeding position in the AFC while the Chiefs would fall to No. 2.

NFL
There remain 11 teams with a record of .500 or better in the AFC, a stark contrast from the NFC where the four teams tied for eighth place (Packers, Rams, Falcons, Bucs) all are 4-6.
One of those .500 teams in the AFC remarkably are the Denver Broncos, who have won four straight following a 1-5 start that included their record-setting thrashing at the hands of the Dolphins in Week 3.
Looking at the AFC East, the Dolphins maintained their 1.5-game lead against the Buffalo Bills, who currently do have the tiebreaker advantage by virtue of their head-to-head victory in Week 4.
To set the stage, we break down the remaining schedules of every team currently at .500 or better and run down the tiebreaker procedures, both within a division or for wild-card spots.
