Mosley volleyball team help younger players at summer camp

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Mosley volleyball team getting a break from practice, but they are still on the court. They are helping coach younger volleyball players all week at the Dolphins summer camp.

The camp is being held at Mowat Middle School while the Mosley gym is getting worked on.

Normally, the camp is designed for middle schoolers, but there are some younger players out on the courts. Mosley head volleyball coach Michelle Mask said she doesn’t like sending young players away if they do want to get involved.

When they split up into teams, some of the 4’0′ players are playing with the 6’0′ girls. It’s a volleyball team you would only see over summer.

Mask says the camp is a great way for her players to teach the younger generation.

“You know, I really encourage my girls to give back, we want to grow the game and I think you can start the girls as young as possible,” Mask said. “Get them to fall in love with the sport, just gives them something to look forward to, keeps them busy in the summer.”
