Holmes County hosts 4th annual Special Olympics

The Holmes County School District held its 4th annual Special Olympics on Friday.

More than 90 athletes participated in their biggest event to date.

The athletes represented each school in the district and competed in relays and individuals events throughout the day.

Volunteers made the day possible for the students who practiced for 12 weeks prior to the Special Olympics.

Winners were awarded after each event.

The games kicked off spring break for students and staff.
