PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden says he has beaten COVID-19.

On October 5th he revealed he had tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from the hospital where he was being treated for a leg infection.

The 90-year-old, who turns 91 next month, was in the hospital for 8 days. He said the virus was “no fun” and the loss of appetite was the worst part.
