Bozeman baseball aiming to bring back first state title

PANAMA CITY, FLA. – The Bozeman baseball team made their way to Fort Myers Monday for the 1A FHSAA Baseball Championships.

The Bucks will take on Chiefland in the state semifinals game Wednesday.

Bozeman has never won a state championship, but they have been close. The team has been to the Final Four four times.

The last time the Bucks got to the state semifinals was back in 2016 when they took on Chiefland. The Bucks lost that matchup, but this season is a different story entirely.

“I think it would put a stamp on this program. We’ve had so much success, it would kinda be the crowning achievement,” Bucks head coach Jeffrey Patton said. “These guys are just going to play a baseball game on Wednesday that’s what we are gonna do.”

First pitch for this matchup is 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
