PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL. - The Bay Point golf course opened up today after 155 days of the course being closed.
Lots of golfers came out to play even with a bit of rain in the forecast.
Bay Point employees have worked hard the past few months to get the course up and running as fast as possible.
They have the Nicklaus course open for play, but still have one more course to fix up.
"Our course and grounds team has done an absolutely fantastic job taking the golf course from where it was after the storm which was a complete disaster to where it is now. We've had so much feedback from our golfers out there today, the greens are immaculate, the course is in great shape everybody is having a blast," general manager Ryan Mulvey said.
