PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Bay High School was suppose to have its Homecoming football game on October 18, 2018.
Hurricane Michael changed those plans and the administration decided to make up for it at this year’s spring game.
“We may not be able to get back to the way things were before the Hurricane, but we’re gonna make things the best that they can and we’re moving into a new normal and we’re gonna make the best of it and we love it,” said Bay High Athletic Director, Michael Grady.
Several sports were represented on the homecoming court and a star basketball player was crowned homecoming king.
“It means a lot cause we just went through this big Hurricane, it pushed it back a couple of months but it’s still special,” said senior football player Anthony Guilford.
The football team got to show off its skills in the spring game.
It was a win for Bay High all around in every sport.
