Bay County Championship track meet held Friday at Tommy Oliver

Arnold wins first on boys side, Mosley places first on girls side

PANAMA CITY, FL. - The Bay County track championships were held Friday at Tommy Oliver. 

On the boy's side, Arnold placing first with 209.33 points, then Mosley in second with 188 points, Bozeman in third, North Bay Haven in fourth, Rutherford in fifth and Bay in sixth. 

On the girl's side, Mosley with the first place finish with 211.5 points, then North Bay Haven in second with 121 points, Arnold in third, Bozeman in fourth, Bay in fifth, Rutherford in sixth and Palm Bay in seventh. 

Although Bay as a team didn't finish first, one runner did exceptionally well. Denise White coming in first in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dash. 

"I don't really care for like the placements, I'm just trying to get a personal record as best so first place, second place, third place doesn't matter to me. Cause I can win all the time but if I haven't done my personal best then the work really hasn't been done," White said.
