Zoo World Hosts Annual “Zoo Boo” Halloween Event

News

Many families got a chance to celebrate halloween early this weekend…with animals!

Zoo World on Panama City Beach held its annual “Zoo Boo” event. The two-day event kicked off Saturday and wrapped up Sunday afternoon. From 10-4pm, families could come to Zoo World to go trick or treating, pet and feed animals and participate in costume contests. This was the third year the event has been held in the daytime. All you needed was a general admission ticket to the zoo and everything inside was free.

“We have some of our education animal ambassadors, this is Miss Susie… she has been out to meet the guests today. We have our staff walking around with snakes, our alligator has been out, lots to do. We also have pirates, we have a stilt walkers, balloon animals, we have face painting, just so much going on,” said Zoo Boo Coordinator Lori Grahl.

Anyone who took a picture at the event is encouraged to post the photo on Zoo World’s Facebook page for a chance to win a two-day stay at the Days Inn on Front Beach Road, also two free tickets to Zoo World.
