JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. - What started as a 911 call from a concerned mother looking for her children turns into an arrest and leads to multiple charges.
At the Chevron gas station on highway 231, 39 year-old Misty Brock called authorities claiming her two children had gone missing.
During the investigation, Brock was showing suspicious behaviors and was determined to be under the influence of drugs.
After reviewing surveillance footage from the Chevron, no children were ever with her. Officers discovered the children had been at the father's home all day. Upon a search they discovered 5 grams of high grade meth.
Brock is charged with false reports to law enforcement, resisting an officer and possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell.
