(Panama City, Fla) — We normally don’t spend a lot of time here at News 13, patting ourselves on the back.  But this time we’re making an exception.
Tuesday morning the Radio Television Digital News Association awarded WMBB News 13 a “Regional Edward R. Murrow Award” for best continuing coverage.
We received the award for our coverage of Hurricane Michael.
The regional award means News 13 is also “under consideration for a National Murrow Award” later this year.
We’re proud of this award and extremely proud of our staff for the hard work and dedication they showed.
Many of them were suffering personal loses do to the hurricane, but continued working to provide you with the latest information before, during and after the storm.
