DeFuniak Springs residents vote to approve new city charter

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WMBB) — The City of DeFuniak Springs in Walton County has voted to approve a referendum to their charter.

In a vote of 264 to 57, over 82 percent of residents supported the proposal.

The charter currently in place was developed more than 100 years ago.
