PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Food, live music, and good company were not lacking at Post 2185 in Panama City. The veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2185 celebrated their 75th anniversary. Veterans, friends, and families were all welcome to join in on the fun starting at noon.
Organizers said the post has been in Panama City for many years and today is a great way to honor the history of the organization.
"The VFW has been around nationally for 119 years nationally and we've always been around to support veterans and it's a really big deal we've been able to keep this alive in the community here for 75 years," said Jason Frigon, Post Commander.
Saturdays event was free to the public. Organizers said dozens of residents stopped by to grab some food, and celebrate.
