Two teens arrested in Okaloosa County for grand theft of a motor vehicle


FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – Two teens were arrested in Okaloosa County for reportedly stealing two   vehicles.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home on Shady Lane near Fort Walton Beach where they found a Honda Accord that had been reported stolen in Georgia, was in the procession of 16-year old Jaquan Cypress.

Also at the residence, a Nissan Altima that had been reported stolen in Destin that 15-year old Darius Wingate admitted to being in possession of. 

Cypress was charged with burglary, grand theft of a motor vehicle, petty theft, and providing a false name to law enforcement.

Wingate was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle.
