A suspect in a drug-related home invasion was arrested earlier this week after he was released from the hospital.
Tyren Chisolm, 20, of Panama City, is being held on $400,000 in bonds and is now charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.
Chisolm and four other suspects worked together to steal narcotics, cash and guns from 20-year-old Abraham Rufus Hudson, Jr., according to court documents. The scheme began when Chisolm arranged a marijuana buy with Hudson at his Lincoln Avenue home on December 18.
While inside the home Chisolm pulled out a gun and shot Hudson in his upper body, according to an arrest affidavit. Hudson pulled out a gun of his own and shot Chisolm in the back, the document states.
Hudson then passed out and Chisolm was able to steal cash, narcotics and guns from the house. Panama City Police located Chisolm a short time later while he was being treated for his gunshot wounds at a local hospital.
He was arrested after he was released from the hospital earlier this week.

A fourth suspect, Morgan T. Raney, 21, of Bay County, was charged with tampering with physical evidence.
