Spring Break Gets Busy: Six Arrested on Drug Charges

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Spring Break party six men were hoping to have in Bay County will now happen in jail.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Highway Patrol conducted a series of traffic stops over what officials anticipated to be a busy Spring Break travel weekend.

"Deputies worked from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Highway 231. There were 25 traffic stops, seventeen warning citations issued, two criminal citations issued, and five K-9 searches conducted," officials wrote.

Officials seized cocaine, high-grade marijuana, ecstacy, and numerous controlled substance pills.

Donald M. Kelley, 21, Austin Litteral, 21, Tyler Webb, 21, Joshua Hamlett, 20,  and Luke Norris, 20, all of Kentucky were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams.

 Adam Ziminski, 20, of Illinois, was arrested and charged possession of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance.
