Over in Walton County, it was Scion versus semi truck on the road in Santa Rosa Beach.

Around 8 o’clock Saturday morning, Cindi Cartagena of Santa Rosa Beach was traveling west bound on Chat Holley road just west of US 331.

Timothy Gossard of Defuniak was in his semi truck headed eastbound when Cartagena crossed the center line into the path of the semi truck.

The vehicles collided slightly and Gossard lost control of the semi truck and crashed into a tree.
Thankfully there were no injuries. However, that section of Chat Holley road was closed for about 6 hours as wreckers worked to recover the semi truck from the woods.
