Elementary students celebrate Thanksgiving in their classrooms

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) — Each school in Bay District is celebrating Thanksgiving in a unique way.
Classrooms from all across the district celebrated Thanksgiving all week long, with everything from eating thanksgiving meals, Native American drumming circles, and even a virtual field trip to Plymouth Plantation.

Teachers asked students to dress up to celebrate the holiday while they decorated turkeys, made jewelry, and hand painted as well.
