Come this spring, the new SandJam Fest is expected to take over Panama City Beach. Now, a full line- up of performers were released Monday.
Twenty six acts will perform on two stages at the M.B. Miller County Pier from April 26th – 28th.
SandJam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady has worked in both Gulf Coast Jam, and Spring Jam. He says R&M Entertainment wanted to offer something different.
“Probably the biggest question that keeps coming up to us on our surveys – because we’re all about surveys – is when are we going to do something other than country,” said Lovelady.
Lovelady says that’s why they’re rolling out with a variety of rock. Headliners include Incubus, and Sublime With Rome.
“Then you have some of your pop stuff, Capital Cities is a dance kind of music. And then Fitz & the Tantrums last year, 2017, he had the number one song of the year;I can hear your hands clap,” said Lovelady.
St. Lucia, Kaleo, All Time Low, Citizen Cope, Best Coast, Gin Blossom, Better than Ezra, The Record Company, The Wild Feathers, Marc Scibilia, Low Cut Connie, Bay Ledges, Walden, Ida Mae, The New Respects, Ruen Brothers, Kirstie Lovelady, Safe to Say, My Fever, The Western Sons, South of Haven, and Gray Tones will also share the stage.
“Then we have a lot of the regional acts that are out there playing that’s going to bring even more. Everything from kind of a harder edge music…Then to the other side which is a little bit more like along the lines of singer songwriter where we’ll be out there with a full band, but it’s on the more mellow side,” said Lovelady.
“We try to give a little bit of everything in that genre of adult genre-rock,” added Lovelady.
Lovelady says at least 10,000 people are expected to attend the music fest.
Parking will be limited this year, however bus shuttles will still be provided.
