Robbery at Panama City School Leads to Lockdown

Panama City Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing Eagles Nest Christian Academy Monday afternoon, police said. 

The school shares its facilities with Cove Baptist Church. 

Cherry Street Elementary, Patterson Elementary, Bay High, Rosenwald, CC Washington, Margaret K. Lewis were all placed on lockdown shortly after the incident. A massive police presence is in the area. 

Police said they are searching for a white male, 5’9 with close cut hair, a medium build, wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie with a handgun. If you spot him call the police and do no approach.  

Panama City Police are asking Eagles Nest parents who wish to pick up their students to come to the intersection of Cherry Street and Macarthur Avenue.
