A Panama City Beach attraction took part in a worldwide event you have to see to believe.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! hosted the 10th Annual World Sword Swallower’s Day on Saturday.
The event celebrates the 4,000 year-old art and honors the few people in the world who have mastered the death defying tradition.
“The cool thing about today is most people don’t know about it, and, the people who do come, if you see their faces, they’re just blown away. They’ve never seen anything like this before,” said Dan Myer, President of Sword Swallowers’ Association International.
Myer set a new record on Saturday, swallowing 27 swords in 2 minutes.
