PCPD: Two Charged in Animal Cruelty Case

News

Two people were arrested Sunday for allegedly letting a dog starve.

Panama City Police officers were attempting to issue a trespassing warning against Justin Sebastian, 38, of Panama City and Jennifer Gordon, 47, of Panama City at the Star Motel on Harrison Avenue.

While they were confronting Sebastian and Gordon, officers noticed a white pit bull that was emaciated. Officers wrote that they could see the dogs bones through its skin.

They added that they asked Gordon if she had food for the dog and Gordon showed them an empty pizza box.

Sebastian and Gordon were both charged with animal cruelty. Officers added that Sebastian resisted arrest until officers were forced to use a Tazer on him.
