PCB Firefighters Quickly put out Brush Fire on the Beach

Panama City Beach Fire Rescue responded to a brush fire Monday afternoon. 

Firefighters arrived at the Reef Motel located in the 15000 block of Front Beach Road shortly before 2 p.m. to reports of smoke and flames coming from the dunes behind the complex. 

First Responders were able to contain the fire within minutes and had the scene secure by 2:30 p.m. 

No injuries were reported. As of right now, the cause of the fire is still unknown.
