Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen Opening Up in Pier Park

Panama City beach is getting little more southern with the help of Paula Deen.

The Family Kitchen at Pier Park is getting ready to open up and the team is putting on the finishing touches.

Owners say the southern style restaurant is a great getaway from whatever is going on, and allows their guests to sit back and just enjoy a good meal.

This is the second location they have in the Panhandle, the other in Destin and even though the plans for the restaurant were moving before Hurricane Michael, owners say it’s even more important now for the economy.

“It’s not just the tremendous amount of jobs we created for the construction but the full time employees that we have running the restaurant which will reach somewhere between 150 to 200 employees,” said Owner/Operator Rajat Shah.

The official opening is Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

The team is doing test runs through the weekend. To reserve a seat at their set times and try the restaurant for half-price, click here
