PanCare Opening Temporary Dental Clinic in Panama City

News

If you need dental work PanCare is offering people a new location to get care.

They’re opening a temporary dental clinic outside their PanCare office in Panama City. Many of their mobile dental units were damaged in the storm, that’s why Fedex, International Medical Corp. and team Rubicon all stepped up and made a donation to PanCare. On Thursday volunteers alongside PanCare dentists helped build the clinic from ground up. Once complete it will be staffed with dentists, hygienists and six chairs. They will offer full services like exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.

“There is such a need in this area. A lot of dentist office’s have closed down, medical offices closed down and they don’t know where to go. We offer an affordable sliding fee based on income and household size so we try to make it affordable for everyone to get the treatment they need,” said PanCare marketing coordinator Ashley Kelley.

They plan to open the clinic on Monday.  It’s located on 403 E. 11th St. They take walk ins or appointments.
