Panama City commissioners approve fire assessment tax

Panama City

PANAMA CITY, Fla (WMBB) – The Panama City commission voted to adopt the ordinance implementing a fire assessment tax during a public hearing Monday.

After about two hours of public comment and residents opposing the tax, commissioners voted to pass it in a four to one vote.
