Panama City officials spend morning at tree dedication ceremonies

Panama City officials dedicated their morning to the future of the city’s trees. The city is pledging to plant more than 100,000 trees witihn the next few years. On Wednesday, Augustine live oak trees were planted in three different areas in Panama City. 

Mayor Greg Brudnicki said they’re not only beautiful but crucial because of the rain and floodwater they soak up.

Tees were planted at Oaks by the Bay Park, Harvey Dee Mathis Walking park, and at the corner of Highway 77 and 15th Street.
