PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A fatal accident temporarily shuts down both east and westbound lanes of State Road 388 in Panama City.
Just before 2:30 Saturday afternoon, a Ford Explorer and Toyota Tundra collided head-on on the corner of SR 388 and Burnt Mill Creek Road.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the Tundra, 58-year-old David Hale was killed in the accident.
His nine-year-old passenger, and the driver of the Explorer, 59-year-old Anthony Gilyard, were sent to Bay Medical Sacred Heart with serious injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
