Panama City Man Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Abusing a Woman in Her Sleep

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Jesse Allen, age 55, on Monday for sexual battery.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Allen was at a residence in Callaway with the victim and another person.

According to the victim, Allen slipped his hand inside her clothing and sexually battered her while she was sleep. The victim told Allen to stop and moved away from him so she could go back to sleep.

According to the victim, after she fell back asleep, Allen slipped his hand inside her clothing a second time. The victim then told Allen to stop and made him leave the residence, calling the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.

When questioned by BCSO Criminal investigators, a witness confirmed the victim’s statement. Contact was made with Allen and he admitted to the acts. 

Allen was later taken into custody and transported to the Bay County Jail.

He appeared in court on Tuesday. His bond was set at $12,000.
