Panama City Beach Fire Rescue Chief John Daly Retires

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - After nearly 33 years at the Panama City Beach Fire Rescue, Chief John Daly retired Friday.

Chief Daly started in 1985 at the Panama City Beach Fire Rescue when there were just seven career firefighters, and with 35 career firefighters now, Chief Daly said he has watched the Beach Fire Rescue evolve with the city.

Chief Daly said he's proud that the firefighters he's worked with during his time as chief are taking over, and that he will spend his time traveling with family and relaxing.
