EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. (WMBB) — A prescribed burn is planned on Thursday for ecological restoration.
The burn will cover about 800 acres in areas north of Range Road 200, east of Range Road 381, south of Range Road 203 and west of Burntout Creek, according to a news release.
Winds are predicted to come from the west and smoke impacts are expected to be minimal.
