News 13 broadcasts hour-long newscast amid Hurricane Michael damage

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WFLA) – News 13 broadcasted their second hour-long newscast after losing power during Hurricane Michael on Friday.

Jerry Brown, Amy Hoyt and Justin Kiefer hosted the hour long broadcast that was streamed live online. 

Chris Marchand and Kristen Mitchell reported on Emergency Operation Center recovery efforts.

Mitch McCoy and Alex Thorson showed some of the worst damage from the storm in Mexico Beach.

Tom Lewis and Kelsey Peck reported on lines of people everywhere from gas stations to the supermarket, as well as hospitals only handling emergency room operations.

Erin Morgan and Kelly Grosfield handed reports on power and cell repairs, as well as water issues.

News 13 will be relaunching the station and getting back on air over the next few days and weeks.
