Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Calhoun County Crash

One person has been seriously injured following a crash in Calhoun County. 

It happened near the intersection of Parrish Lake road and Don O’Bryan road shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday. 

Reports said a motorcycle was headed North on Parrish Lake road when the driver failed to negotiate the curve and traveled onto the shoulder of the road. 

The motorcycle hit a ditch causing it to overturn and throwing the driver onto the ground. The driver, 43-year-old Billy Thurman of Blountstown has been transported to Bay Medical Center with serious injuries.
