Fort Walton Beach, Fla. - Jobs, jobs and more jobs are coming to the area. A new technology company is expanding its services and creating high paying jobs.
Coming soon to Okaloosa County will be more than 40 new technology opportunities.
The company is called, Beast Code. It's an employee owned and operated software engineering company. Beast Code announced today, that they've chosen to expand in Fort Walton Beach.
The company was founded in 2014 by seven computer scientists. Using successful Silicon Valley based companies as a standard, they adopted an agile work flow enabling them to rapidly produce cost effective solutions tailored to the user's needs.
"There is really a great group of about four or five different organizations that have move from up north down to our county. And to Pensacola and Santa Rosa County. I guess the really big draw is all of our military bases. So, it really helps our economy," explained Graham Fountain, Okaloosa County Board of Commission, Chairman.
Many of the jobs start out for around $70,000 year. Beast mode is expected to add 40 jobs by 2021.
