Man who Attempted to Seduce a Minor gets 15 Years in State Prison

In Okaloosa County, State Attorney Bill Eddins announces that Kevin Petutsky has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison. He was facing several charges including using a computer to solicit sexual conduct on a child.

Petutsky was classified as a sexual predator and will serve five years of probation once released from prison. The charges came from an undercover investigation  by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's office in January.

Petutsky contacted an undercover officer online and attempted to arrange a meeting with whom he believed to be 14 year old grl to perform sex acts.Petutsky had previously been classified and registered as a sexual offender and was registered with the Marion County Florida Sheriff’s Office. Petutsky was arrested in Marion County, Florida and returned to Okaloosa County for prosecution. 

The sentence was imposed by Circuit Judge William Stone. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation and arrest.  Assistant State Attorney Christine Bosau was responsible for the prosecution.
