PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — In July of 2017, James David Watson is accused of driving under the influence, causing the death of one person.

He and the victim, Candi Michelle Bailey, left a local bar on Watson’s motorcycle getting into an accident in Panama City Beach.

Bailey was thrown from the motorcycle, causing fatal injuries. Watson was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter.

On Wednesday, Watson sat in court, facing a jury.
