PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Panama City Beach Police charged a man with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after police say he tried to run a man over with his car.
The altercation happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Beach police said the victim got into an altercation with Charles Blay Junior of Panama City Beach and Junior hit him with his Jeep before taking off.
Officers found the Jeep and Junior inside Reid's Court a short time later.
He admitted to getting into a confrontation, but denied hitting the victim with his car.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
