Panama City Beach, Fla. - The Bay County Sheriff's Office arrests a man for animal cruelty in Panama City Beach. Deputies say 39 year old Jason Reece parked his van in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Thomas Drive.
He left his three dogs inside of kennels in his vehicle and then reportedly got extremely intoxicated. Reece was later arrested for disorderly conduct but couldn't tell a deputy where his vehicle was left and apparently said nothing about his dogs.
According to the Bay County Sheriff's Office, it wasnt until Reece's wife called that officers learned about the dogs and found the van. Inside of the van two of the three dogs were found dead. Reece is now charged with cruelty to animals that involved a death or extreme suffering.
