Although, it is not on the agenda the future of Lynn Haven City Manager Mike White could be decided at tonight’s Lynn Haven City Commission meeting.
White was arrested on March 17 and charged with a felony count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Bay County Sheriff’s investigators said that White pointed a gun at his wife during the altercation and that she called for help.
According to his employment contract White gets six weeks of his salary as severance if he is terminated in a unanimous vote. He gets 16 weeks of salary if the vote is 4-1 and 20 weeks if the vote is 3-2.
However, White can be fired without pay or benefits if the commission terminates him for misconduct.
