PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Justin McLendon was arrested on May 14, 2019, after police say he would pick up a juvenile, take her to his home.

The report says he would smoke marijuana and would encourage the minor to do so as well.

According to the police report, the acts took place between October of 2018 and December of 2018. Police say McLendon is a school teacher and the victim is one of his students.

The report also says McLendon would kiss the victim on the mouth.

He was taken into custody but since then has posted more than $8,000 worth of bonds.

News13 dug a little deeper and found McLendon listed as an employee of Palm Bay Preparatory Academy in Panama City.

Their website says he is a sponsor of two separate clubs.

We reached out to the charter school and waiting to hear back.

McLendon has been ordered to have no contact with the victim.
