PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WDHN) — Panama City Beach Police continue to search for a child missing since mid-day Monday, and have created a link for potential witnesses to upload photos or video which might contain images of the child.

“We continue to ask for the public’s help in locating missing 6-year-old Enrique Cortez-Dubon,” said Police Chief J.R. Talamantez. “We are asking all visitors and locals to please check your cell phone photographs and videos taken beachside in the area between Majestic Beach Resort and the Boardwalk Beach Resort, especially around Pineapple Willy’s, between 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, July 5.”

If you believe you have photos of the child, wearing a teal blue shirt and light blue shorts, please fill out this form and upload photos here: https://form.jotform.com/211863209787061.

Enrique, who stands 3 feet tall, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Monday near the beach at Shores of Panama, 9900 S. Thomas Drive, where he was staying with his family. The family, from the Atlanta area and here for a one-week vacation, realized Enrique was missing and called Panama City Beach Police around noon. A massive search ensued and continued into the night with enhanced efforts along the beach Tuesday morning. The family arrived at the beach Saturday.

More than 80 first responders took part in the search Monday. Rescue efforts are being led by Panama City Beach Police, in conjunction with Panama City Beach Fire Rescue and Beach Safety, with assistance from the Bay County Sheriff’s Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Panama City Police, the U.S. Marshals Service, the U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Fish & Wildlife and the Gulf Coast Community College Drone Division.

Both drone and helicopter searches are being performed as well as dive searches.

“We desperately need the public’s help,” said Talamantez. “If anyone saw anything, we need to know. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family. As we know, this is every parent’s worst nightmare.”
