MEXICO BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — The precautionary boil water notice for Mexico Beach has been lifted.

On Monday afternoon, City administrator Doug Baber said a construction crane hit a telephone pole, creating an electricity outage.

Even though the power came back on, the outage caused water pressure to drop.

They issued a precautionary boil water notice for the whole city.
