Long time Hiland Park Fire Chief has died

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — A former long-time fire chief who served the Hiland Park area of Bay County has died.

Tommie Pollard served as the Hiland Park Volunteer Fire Department Chief for more than 40 years. He passed away Tuesday while surrounded by friends and family at the age of 78.

Funeral arrangements are still being finalized.
