UPDATE: One person found dead in Panama City house fire

UPDATE as of 10:24 p.m.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Panama City firefighters and PCPD responded to a house on fire in Panama City around 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.

According to officials, one person was found dead in the home, but they are unable to confirm whether the person is male or female at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

We will continue to update as we learn more information.
