PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — A Panama City Beach man was killed after a crash early Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on U.S 98 (Back Beach Road) near Allison Avenue.

Troopers said a 41-year-old man was driving a pickup truck west on Back Beach Road when he went onto the center median, lost control and overturned several times.

FHP officials said the man was not wearing a seatbelt and he was ejected from the vehicle.

Officials say alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
