Crews on scene for brush fire near Pitti Lane

Update: The bush fire is 100% contained as of 8 p.m.

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) — Bay County and Florida Forest Service officials are working on a brush fire near Pitti Lane.

Around 5:30 Tuesday evening Bay County Emergency Services posted on Facebook saying “Crews from Bay County Fire and Florida Forest Service are currently on scene at a brush fire near Pitti Lane. Smoke may be in the area of Cherokee landing tonight.”
