PANAMA CITY, Fla.- The “last pass” for Hurricane Michael debris collection has been extended to July 10th for residents in Panama City, city limits.

The city initially planned to begin the last pass on May 10th but has moved the date because of a continued need within the city.

Residents are asked to place all hurricane-generated debris by the roadside by July 10th.

The effort to collect all of the remaining debris is expected to take up to four weeks. Property owners who need assistance removing debris, such as trees and damaged sheds are encouraged to register for the city’s private property debris removal program.

Registration is open through July 10th.
