Judge Sets $3,000 Bond for Lynn Haven City Manager Michael White

News

Lynn Haven City Manager Michael White made his first appearance before a judge Tuesday.

He faces charges for felony aggravated assault with a firearm after allegedly pointing a gun at his wife during an argument this weekend. White was emotional as the judge set his bond for $3,000. White’s parents and his wife Amy were there.

Amy White asked the judge for a low bond and a conditional release with several requirements. She asked for supervised contact for the benefit of family finances and their children, a psychological evaluation, and no alcohol, saying she was not afraid of her husband if he was sober. Prosecutors said they had a lot of fear for the alleged victim and the judge said there needs to be a cooling off period.

The judge ordered no contact and no alcohol. White’s lawyer, Waylon Graham, told White to not contact any Lynn Haven police or Chief Ricky Ramie for personal or business reasons when he is released.

White’s next court date is May 20th at 9 a.m.
