SPRINGFIELD, Fla. (WMBB) – Springfield Police responded to a serious crash at the intersection of East 3rd Street and Transmitter Road on Saturday night which left an 18-month-old child in critical condition.
Springfield Police got to the scene of the two-vehicle car crash just after 6:30 p.m.
Officers say once on scene an 18-month-old child was found to be unresponsive and was taken to a local hospital by Bay County EMS in addition to a 47-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy.
A 19-year-old girl and a five-month-old boy were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
The 18-month-old is currently in critical care at a Pensacola area hospital.
